"You won't find better Chinese food anywhere. They do 80% takeout. So if you find it is a longer wait at times when not that busy in the dining room, you have to realize that they are still cooking for many customers That You Don't See. If you are deciding to call for takeout it's a good idea to call before 7:30. On thur and Friday the dining room is closed between 2pm and 4pm. Takeout is still available in those 2 hours. the dining room opens at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sundays. But you can get takeout at noon"

"I wanted to try a new (to me) Chinese restaurant. Today I chose the Jade Place restaurant. The restaurant reminds of a mafia hangout, like something out of Goodfellas. I was getting take out so wasn't paying much attention to the atmosphere. First impression, they use a plastic container with a good lid so take out doesn't leak. I paid 44$ for vegetable fried rice, vegetable curry and vegetable chow mein. The portion size seemed a bit small for the price. Inside the takeout bag I expected a fortune cookie, which is standard most places. Instead there was a bag of stick shaped food. I tried one but it was stale, so failing grade here. Having said that the food itself was excellent and very flavorful. I would go back again, but this would be a special occasion place for me."

"So its another westernized Chinese food place. It does it well though. The interior design is definitely a vintage look. Exactly what you imagine it to be. A bit stylized with older furniture. The spacing is well done. Service was exceptionally good. Pretty prompt, very polite! We ordered a main, and a soup. The portions were enough for 2. The main had pork, chicken, and shrimp. Honestly I was a bit surprised by the BBQ pork. It was well done, good flavour, just lacking in color but that's fine. Prices were a bit high but they are the only Chinese in town so it is understandable. Parking is sufficient for the local. Overall would recommend!"
